This isn't a huge priority for me, but seeing as how this forum is filled with a ton of Mustang owners, I feel like there's got to be some people here who have Hagerty insurance for their collector car.
Anyways I just bought an 86 GT this past Saturday (1/16) and I already insured the car through Hagerty earlier that week. They gave me a temporary insurance card to print out with the policy number until they send me an actual card in the mail that I can stick in my glove box.
Anyways, I live in MD. I went to the MDOT DMV service section online to register the car for Street Rod tags and pay the taxes on the car. I came to the section to enter the insurance information. I have the policy number, but it was asking for the NAIC number and had no idea where to find it. I went on the Hagerty website and logged in and I can't find anything either except it shows my policy number, amount I paid, and how long the policy is good for. Nothing that shows the NAIC number. I tried to call Hagerty, but due to the holiday, they are closed for the day.
I know this may be a hard ask, but I am wondering if anyone has had an issue similar to this. Perhaps, you were trying to register your car after buying it and came across the NAIC number issue and found out how to find it or deal with it. Thanks for any help in advance!
Again, not a complete priority, since Hagerty will be open tomorrow and I can talk to them now. I was just curious if anyone has come across this issue.
