I am in the process of building an Aluminator engine. I go to purchase the main bearings I am going to use, MB5281SI STD and I can't find them anywhere. King apparently is back-ordered on these for 8 weeks. I wanted to use these as I am going to go for the fully flanged rear mains (using the MB5219SI which I was able to source). 8 weeks is a long time to wait so I thought I would go ahead with a set of XP's instead. Found that these are hard to find as well.

Crazy times.

FYI, any of the listings on Ebay for the MB5281SI are bogus. They drop ship directly from King. King does not have any of these. Summit is a no-go. There are some others like Vivid, etc but all saying ~8 weeks.

If anyone out there knows where to find a set of these for real, please let me know.

Everyone stopped ordering and manufacturing when covid hit and now it is all rippling through the system for every product under the sun.

My long search is over. I was able to finally find a set with Engine Parts Center (shipped out of Alabama). Never heard of them before this but they came through!
