The only thing that ruined it is the awful overacting and cheesy overtones.
This show could have been even better had it been filmed with the seriousness of the original three movies.
Despite that, it’s still nice to “fill in the gaps” and see how things came to be. I do like all the back stories.

The physical maturation process of Peyton List makes watching a little weird. I remember my daughter watching "Jessie", and she being on that show as a very young teen ager, and now she has certainly progressed to womanhood. She does everything she can to make all of her fans from back in the day realize she is no longer that teenager.
