Can anybody give me any ideas?

I have a 2003 cobra that has a 2.8 Kenne Bell and a 5.15L stroker motor in it, tuner has been working with it time and time again over the last few weeks trying to get it dialed in. For some reason every single time the car hits 3000 RPMs the engine just cuts out and pours fuel until the engine stalls. We have checked all of the sensors they all checked good including the crank position sensor. Also checked all wiring, grounding etc. We swapped ECU’s and same problem. Checked all wiring and grounds. Have a full lethal return system with a SCT BA3000. Occasionally it’ll throw a code of P0320. Has brand new MSD coils on it and data log showed that the mass airflow sensor is pegged and that’s why it’s throwing fuel. Which makes no sense.... looking at possibly going to a MS3PRO system. Anyone have any ideas before I spend another $1,500?

It seems like checking the maf and maf wiring would be the smart move, I dont see its pegging that maf at only 3k rpm.

Thanks. That’s the next step, one of the guys has an 03 with the same MAF. It’s hooked up on my car and going on the dyno today or tomorrow to check. I’m hoping that’s what it is, but my luck says it won’t be. Any other ideas?

What's the fuel system set up like? Are you running a mammoth intake or a stock style set up?

When you get a chance ditch the MSD coil packs and go back to stock.

I'd say that if it's happening in the same spot every time it's something in the tune. Sometimes a value gets corrupted when being loaded. Has he tried a fresh tune to eliminate a corrupted tune as a possibility?
