Anytime you have to use the word "modern" to define your answer, you know you've posed a trick/bullshit question.

Besides, you did not specify which era of math to use to solve the problem.

Well, ackchyually, if we're saying "modern" we won't even be answering this because math is now racist.

Where does the distributive property fall into order of operations?

8 / {2(2) + 2(2)}
8 / 8

For what it’s worth, if I saw kids writing out equations like this one when I was teaching, I had them erase the whole thing and start fresh.

Having said that

8 / 2(4)

Is literally 8 divided by 2 times 4. Working left to right is 16. It’s why this experiment is just an aids shot to the back of the throat fresh from a fleshy syringe.

I felt that way when I found out strippers poles actually spin, had thought strippers were the ones spinning around the pole. That felt worse then finding out santa wasn’t real when I was a kid…

Told wifey that in the last month or two

She goes ‘well that’s bullshit anyone can do that then’

I said ‘that’s literally the point’ hahahaha
