I have watched the footage a few times now and it shows how poorly trained they are.

Moving slow. Uncoordinated.

Fat ass with the shot gun has be shoved forward.

Dude in blue doesn't know how to handle a rifle. Can barely make it up the stairs. Is yelled at repeatedly to move forward.

Once they are in the hallway 4 of them unload on an unknown target that cannot be seen.

They killed the bitch but sheesh pretty much everyone I have seen at a 3 gun competition runs circles around these guys.

Bodycam footage; clearly these officers are not trained in CQB/sweeping a school with sirens blaring but I'm not sure anyone could be immediately ready for that situation without training for it day in day out. Especially when your day in day out job is probably mostly made up of writing speeding tickets. Nonetheless they were in the building and doing the job the best they knew how. The officer wearing the bodycam acted in a manner of someone there to clear the threat. He and the team are absolute heroes.

It's pretty much the very basic level of clearing. Safety clears move pretty slow like that which safety clears are utilized in unknown structures. If they were more organized then they could have moved quicker with their numbers but organization in a team takes a lot of time to learn and everyone has to know how to do it. Now if the schools all had their own react teams then blitz clearing could be utilized because plans could be made to clear in the most efficient manner and everyone would know where to go depending on their number in the stack.
