2003 Cobra retaining value with aftermarket parts?

I like buying modded cars, I’m too lazy to do the work myself. But I also recognize that they’ve probably been beaten on, and that mods in no way make a car more valuable.

Many a time have I been ready to trade in a car and the dealer wants to give me less for it. Selling private party is always better but it certainly doesn’t increase value

Remember these are NOT numbers matching motor/transmission cars. So long as the production date of the part numbers is in the very rough proper time range compared to production dates of the car you cannot verify it’s the correct motor (ie you could take a motor from one 03 cobra and stuff it another and would be insanely difficult to prove).

It’d be obvious in this case but being that they aren’t serialized together I think that matters a lot less/not like you will find another terminator you can 100% say has the assembly line motor and trans
