Looks like a decent flick. The true story is pretty wild, and really stretches the thought process..19 year old gets a shot to race in the 24hr of Dubai... I hope the movie does it justice next month.

Interesting. First I've heard of it but I'll definitely be checking it out.

For whatever reason their marketing budget sucks. It's based on a true story from 2011.

Looks pretty damn good.

I agree. I just hope they don't overdue it with special effects.

I remember when they first did this competition and apparently the drivers ended up being pretty successful in the leagues they raced in when you compare to their background in racing.

Being based on a true story, that actually looks like a pretty decent movie. After watching the Trailer, I have high hopes on this one.

Movie looks pretty good, my only issue is the forced love story.

Crazy thing, movie was first announced 10-12 years ago.

I don't think so? I watched this story unfold as it was happening and don't remember talk about a movie until after the documentary aired.

I could be wrong. That's happened a time or two, ask my wife.

Gran Turismo Movie Plot Outlined - IGN

10 years ago. I remember when it was announced, GT5 or 6? wasnt out yet and everyone was bitching about movie being made but no game was released yet.

And that is because it has went through I think 5 different backers and like 4 directors, it has sort of been in limbo due to that constant revolving door.
Yep, they changed the story with different drivers

I got GT 1 to 6 and a PS 2/3/ and 4 so as to play such games. I sort of like 4 out of all of the GT series.

4 is known to be the most expansive and the most content, had something like 700 cars. I remember playing it nonstop but I do love GT7. The physics upgrades really bring it to a whole new level and while I enjoy it on controller I feel like I'm really missing out by not having a driving rig.

I know there are far better simulators out there but the GT series has always offered enjoyment and superior graphics compared to most everyone else.
