Here's some other options you can apply on a Craftsman table saw. Molding kits are available also adjustable dado blade comes in handy. I wax my table regularly to aid in friction resistance. I have a big shaper but use this Kreg router table insert more now. So many projects can be accomplished from a good table saw.

I had a kitchen cabinet business in my 20s and have been looking into possibly going back into it next year. By chance I have been shopping for tools as well. To be completely honest all contractor portable saws are junk. I do have a dewalt 10 inch and it is fine for small projects or on the jobsite but it is pretty much limited to trim work use.
Search the marketplace or craigslist and pick up an old Rockwell or delta. I see 5hp models with 52" fences that can be had for $600.

Well this guy just responded that his table was still available for $220 so waiting on the next reply. I can't even get a 10" for this price new, seems to be better construction and has wheels to move into the center of my garage when I need it. I'll get a new blade, and seems if the motor goes out it's easily replaceable.

Not bad at all. Looks like he made his own mobile cart for it. Offer him $180, and you can probably settle in the middle at $200.

Na, I'm not that guy. I hate a haggler and won't even sell to someone who tries to low ball me. If I put a price I put a price and find that rude AF. I won't do it to someone else. I don't knock those that do, just isn't me.

Nice Thanks! I did just buy a brand new Dewalt router. I need to make some custom speaker adaptors for some 8' mids I want to put in my doors in my truck. The Air Filtration system looks great as well. Wish I had a dedicated shop for such things. Definitely need to clean up that garage and get shit out of it that I don't need now.

After the shop gets built, the wife wants to turn my 10x20 shed into a wood shop for small to medium crafty items. I'll be in the same boat soon, looking for items of use.

Love to do that. Hell I'm not even sure I have the yard or if the HOA would let me. Might just have to clean out my side of the garage and make due.

Well someone just posted a NIB Craftsman Evolv 10" Table Saw for 125.00 so picking it up tomorrow. Believe is wasn't much more new but hard to find a 10" for that price it seems. If I outgrow it I'll spend some money on a good one.

Well that just happened.......this Craftsman looks like something Hasbro makes. This should be a better saw for sure.

I’m your guy for reattaching fingers when you cut one off.

Saw stop gets my vote. Obviously.

Nope, looked like something from Hasbro. I sold it yesterday for what I paid for it. I wanted something a little more upscale. Think I'll be happy with what is on the way. Just gotta make room for it now..lol.

Do you think it would be good enough for a recently retired bored guy? I imagine it'll only get used a few times a year.
