Hmmm, my USPSA membership expired last year and I haven't renewed it yet as I won't have time to shoot for the foreseeable future between kids sports and the lake in the summer... if you could find his USPSA member number I could look it up, but searching his name didn't reveal any results.

I have no idea what it is. This was probably close to 10 years ago as well so I wouldn't be surprised if his record has been beat multiple times now considering he shot with a stock G19 and a few other models of Glocks.

I feel the need to defend myself. ;)

Grew up in a small town. Earned money buckin' hay and milkin' cows. Just never liked the twangy country music. And now the new stuff is so formulaic, it's ridiculous. I'm more of a blues/rock/ kind of guy. Zep, Hendrix, Doors, Van Halen, But to each his own.

not at my post...
Surprised tipping isn't an issue with the Japanese since they don't tip in Japan, but they aren't assholes however and are typically respectful of our customs. Just surprised it doesn't happen more with them.
Tipping is an almost uniquely American thing. They really don’t do it in most parts of Europe either. However I believe waitstaff are paid better, salary etc..

Just got back from Australia, not much tipping going on but some for sure. They make a “living wage” tipping is slowly catching on, it often shows on the card reader screen. Other thing they are starting is card fees, if you use credit or debit they tack on an extra 1.4%. Not everywhere but some places, generally restaurants.

I wonder if that extra fee tacked on at the end is how eateries are going to do the "surge pricing" bullshit??? Some places are starting to charge more at peak times in Cleveland, any place that tries that will end up on "the list". I am sure the wait staff will be totally unaffected by it, maybe they should ask for "surge pay" lol.

I noticed that practice in Australia too, Sunday’s and Holidays prices jump by up to 15%! We avoided those restaurants because of that practice. Fortunately almost all restaurants have their menus posted outside and you can see if they add on the extra charge

tipping culture is out of control up here... i swear if the gas pump asks me for a tip the place is going to be blown up.

i'd say the average Canook tips 18% at restaurants. **** tipping culture, get a real job. i've never been tipped in my life

When my daughter worked as a waitress in a local (Edmonton) pizza restaurant while going to university she made between $50 and $100 per hour. (Dependent on which shift.)

I asked if that included her hourly wage. She laughed and told me that was tips only. The server girls didn't even count wages when discussing how they did that night because the $15/hr was considered insignificant. It was an eye opener for me.

So, I guess some Canadians tip. If I move to Florida I plan to tip female servers only.
