My name is Mark Wesselmann and Greg at RET gave me your name. I seem to have a similar problem to one you posted in the past. I purchased a KB2.6H June 2008 and carefully installed it myself. Similar to the old message I saw from you the power was low however the boost was what KB said it should be. It was running 390 rwhp stock except for K&N CAI a few months before KB installation. After KB with 4" pulley I was getting 14 psi but only 460rwhp 430 rwtq. Cutting out cats, SCT MAF, 60 pound injetors got me 495 rwhp. Recently put on Magnaflow catted X pipe, BBK 65 mm twin TB and installed the smaller 3.75" pulley. It got me about 16 psi but only 515rwhp. I have been calling KB and maybe in a similar place to where you where. I am running varioius tests suggested by KB.
I am curious. I know you installed the Whipple and things got better. Are you still satisfied with the Whipple and getting the results you expect or do you think there was another problem? Jim Bell similar is suggesting my cam timing could be off but like you it seemed my hp before the KB was about right. Do you have any advice or comments for me?
