South Dakota does not have 93. Just 91 or E-85. I was living there for the past 4 years and was told no one in the state carries 93 by a few different gas station owners.
I don't know. It has happened since I installed the new blower so I'm hesitant to say that it is being that it's new. The car has 63k miles on it though. The belt is the new one from Kenne Bell, but it's my oem tensioner. How can I check just the bypass?
Sorry guys, thought the thread was dead...lol anyway, not necessarily mashing it in 6th, but just getting on it a little bit to pass a car here or there instead of downshifting. Rpms are around 2100 at 80mph in 6th. I talked to Van and he wanted me to smoke check the system to make sure I didn't...
My duty cycles are good, but this is a physical rubbing feeling that you can feel inside the car. I'm leaning towards the belt slip, but didn't know if anyone else has came across this before so I can be sure before I throw more money at it.
Side note, yes, as far as I know I broke in the clutch properly. Unless there's something different that McLeod does that others don't.
Thanks for the info on the plugs too btw. I heard the Brisk plugs were taking the spot of the TR7's?
No, RPMs are not going up any faster. I'm not losing traction either. My other thought was maybe belt slip, but I don't see any black dust around the snout and it's a new belt. It's a stock belt from kenne bell and stock tensioner.
Hey all! So I'm trying to figure out why my car seems like the clutch is slipping in 4th-6th when I smash it. A little backstory first. I installed my 3.2L KB a while back and any time I just smashed the pedal it sounded like an A-10 gun going off. So I would have to roll into the throttle. I...
so I've been running E85 for a little while now and don't really want to switch back to gasoline to lubricate everything. The question is, what have you guys been using to add lubrication to the fuel system while running E85 or is there even such a thing?
Good idea with the headers and TB. Save up and do the system right for E85. Don't half ass it because you'll wind up paying more later. Nitrous is definitely an option too. Setup will cost you similar to that of an E85 setup from what looked into to do it right. Either way they are all (meth...
+1^...I have lots of respect for Willie and his meth experience but since switching to E85 my sources have been pretty consistent and above E80 even during the winter time. I understand about not "needing" race has when you're not going WOT 95% of the time, but you never know when that Enzo is...
I bought mine through Accesspeed about a year ago, but they were on back order. So I talked to autoanything.com and they price matched for me and got them to me within a week. After that I cancelled my order with Accesspeed because they were like 8 weeks out.
Dynatechs are the way to go. Check out Accesspeed.com on pricing. If they don't have them in stock autoanything.com will price match. That's the cheapest price I've found. I used the dynatech adapters from VMP and cut my lethal H pipe to fit and make my own mid pipe. Go 1- 7/8. If you're going...
