If the goal is for the quickest E/T's then get taller gears. If it's a driver, I agree, stick with the stock gears . Even then, tall gears aren't bad with either our M6 or A6 transmissions.

It really depends on what you will be doing with the car. Track racing, drag racing, street roll racing, daily driving? I don't understand you guys. Taller gears= quicker E/T. I know a coyote running mid-11's with 4:10's and a tune.

Great question! See attached pdf from Ford explaining the differences between the Gen 1 5.0 (2011-2014) and Gen 2 5.0 (2015-2017). A major improvement includes stronger rods for higher horsepower potential.

That's a low price for a coyote car. Last year I looked for a few months and couldn't find on under $21k. Recommend 2011-up 5.0 if you can swing it. Make them an offer. The '05-'10's are disappointingly slow, stock. Hard to find a decent reasonably priced Mach 1 or Cobra.
