Clicking noise

i have a 2013 5.0 auto with 40k on the clock, I recently noticed that when I press the brake I hear a clicking noise coming from the shifter. Is this normal or do I need to replace the shifter soon? Any feedback will be appreciated

That's the can't-shift-out-of-park-unless-the-brake-is-depressed safety feature (shifter interlock) working, not to worry!
