Last week I stopped to say "hi" to a few of my friends that hang out @ the local Mustang hot spot when a group of local rice boys (maybe ten cars?) do a drive by to scare us or something. Any way, typical Florida weather, its raining very lightly and a few of these idiots start doing donuts...
I just got back form the track.
I ran a 13.7 with a LFP ported S/C a 4lb lower and a Tuned PCM.
The temp was 85 Deg and I had the spare tire and jack removed. My best time STOCK was 13.6 @ 102.9 with temp of 50 Deg.
My 60' today was 2.4 I know this is sh!t but even with no traction...
Is it feasible to decrease back pressure without making the truck tremendously loud? I was thinking long tube headers and cats with all else stock. Is there a significant hp/tq gain or do you need full exhaust to see new #'s?
I finally saw my first SRT-10 on the road yesterday. I say on the road because the first SRT-10 I ever saw, NO LIE, was at International Auto and Body with the front end smashed in from hitting a tree. The employee let us look at it. I went to the rear wheels and sure enough found half the guys...
