are you talking about a vacuum leak in hte coolant system?

I have a bama tuner that tells me coolant temps. also the fan works and oil doesnt look milky. after refilling at the crossover the coolant temp is at about 208-210 max.

Just drove it around for a bit after filling at crossover and I didn’t experience any overheating. I’m not sure if that helps eliminate some issues or not.

There is steam coming from the coolant tank area. Not sure if it’s actually the coolant tank or the radiator but there is definitely steam. Also might just be burning off coolant that overflowed out of the tank EDIT: I think it was just coolant burning off that overflowed out of the tank...

UPDATE: @02gt87 i followed your guide that you sent me and when i first was filling up at the crossover tube i had to put almost 2 gallons of fluid in there until it got full. Is that normal or do you think that might be what my issue was?
