You speak the truth DBK. My gut and bet has always been that we will never see a new GT500. Ford is literally facing an existential threat and things are getting worse by the day. I believe it is over, but I hope I am wrong.
Basic economics will win the day. Older cars will not be outlawed but Insurance providers will make it prohibitively expensive to drive your own car once the autonomous systems are up and running.
Mark Fields was sacked because Ford is way behind in Automation and Electric. The new administration has made it clear that they will focus on high margin, high volume trucks and mass transportation, electric automated vehicles.
I wish it wasn't true, but the end is here. Ford is in a fight...
I'm your huckleberry. If you know, say. Otherwise one big circle jerk session. Lots of stuff changing these days at Ford.... I'll believe it when I see it and in the mean time, I'll drive the great cars that are already shipping.
I went A8 and it is a pretty damn amazing piece of technology. The 10speed in my new Raptor is awesome also. I've always been a manual guy, but I'd go 10 speed auto in the new GT500 if it is ever produced or offered.
I replaced my '13 GT500 with a '16 HC Challenger and I honestly couldn't be happier. I am a dyed in the wool Ford guy, but my HC challenger is simply the best DD muscle car I've ever driven.
Sergio is going to party to the end...but the end is near.
You guys do realize that it is over right?....

real world MPG wise, I'm getting a combined number of about 17 and the photo I took above is real for highway at 70 on a perfectly flat road. I was driving south out of columbus ohio on Rt 71 which is dead flat. I reset the computer and it stayed at 23 for about 20 miles and then I bumped the...
I ordered for MSRP back in Aug, but even that dealer is charging an ADM now given the popularity of the trucks. Im sure it will calm down as it always does, but I'm glad I got mine when I did.
SCAB's by far look better than the SCREWs IMO. Their proportions are just better and it is a sport...
