FS 03 Sonic Blue Cobra, 3.4 Whipple ***SOLD***
For sale is my 03 Sonic Blue Cobra. I have owned the car for a little over two years now and have had no issues with it. The current millage is just over 51,000 and it runs very strong. The street tune is at 19PSI and made just over 620 with 15* of...
Where can I get some? A buddy just bought all the stuff to powder coat, oven included and I want to do my valve covers. I live in Hawaii and can't find anything here.
What's up? I'm moving to Virginia in August and I'm looking forward to going to some events and getting some track time in. I'm currently in Hawaii and there are only a handfull of Cobra's out here and no track so it should be a whole new world for me. Any events this fall?
Test fit the new rims and tires today, still need to work on the spacing for the front, and please ignor the dirt. LOL Also going to drop the rear an inch.
I had the car on the dyno today and I'm not impressed with the numbers at all. It made 616/560 and a/f is 11.7 with 18* timing 92 octane, 19lbs. of boost on a dynojet dyno. What are we missing.
3.4 Whipple
3.8 upper with stock lower
Acufab monoblade throttle body
Mac long tube

I'm taking the car to get tuned on Friday since I have not had it on a dyno since I bought and want to check the tune. Should I get a race gas tune also or wait untill this summer when I move from Hawaii to Virginia? If I do get a race tune what octane should I go with>:burnout:
I pulled the 4:30's the previous owner installed and put some 3:73's in. It is definetly a better gear for the car but first and second are still useless under boost. I hit it from a 10mph roll and roasted em through second, oh well. I was hoping for a little better traction. It my be time to...
I want to powder coat my valve covers but I'm not sure what color to do them. My car is Sonic Blue and I think that would look the best and ad the chrome FRPP coil covers. Anyone know who sells powder that color or a good stock number? If you have yours done please post some pics.
I had the car ideling in the driveway today for about 15 minutes setting up to do some data logging. I shut the car down and looked behind it and there was a small puddle of what appeared to be condensation under the exhaust. I looked closer and it seems to be anti-freeze. I pulled the passenger...
I picked up a set or 17x10.5 rims and some 315 17R 35 MT ET streets. Only had it out once and it started to sprinkle so I couldn't realy test them out.
My 03 had the A/C deleted when I bought it and living in Hawaii it makes for some uncomfortable crusing. I want to put A/C back in the car and have one available here from a New Edge v-6 car for cheap. Will this work? Will I need any additional parts/brackets? Would it be easier to find...
I've been trying to call them for a couple of days and no luck, not even an answering machine. They go out of bussiness and or something? Anyone got a good number for them?
Swapping gears soon and also getting the car ready for some track time. My set-up is a SRA from a 03 GT with Moser axels and an Auburn pro diff. My question is do I need to go with c-clip eliminators? I'm going to replace the studs when the gears are done and don't want to have to go...
I have 10.5 17 replica rims and I oredered some Mikey Thompson E/T drag radials today. My question is what is the largest E/T drag I can run on a 10.5 rim? MT's catalog says a 315 needs a 11-12 inch rims so I went with the 295 45R 17.
I'm looking at buying the 03/04 kit in a couple of months and I have a couple of questions. Let me know what you guys think.
1. Do these kits make the power they claim?
2. Any issues with them?
3. Are they worth the price?
I'm sure this has been covered before but a I could use some help. I'm looking to build my Cobra in a couple of months and need a new short block capable of holding 800 hp. I live in Hawaii and do not have a reliable shop here to do the work. I've got the tranny and rear-end and suspension...
