Are they just noisier in the winter? Mine is really creaky, even after a good lube in the zerks. Are there any tricks to getting it quieter?

I upgraded to the MM kit so I'm parting out my K-member from my '04 Cobra that had 12K miles. (This fits any 4.6 Mustang '96-04.) $100 Paypal, with free delivery beween SF and LA because I'm driving down to LA next weekend. Also have an OEM steering shaft from the same car, $75 PayPal .

To those with headers: Is it just me or does it seem to take longer to start the car? It seems I always have to crank the engine over a few extra seconds compared to when I had the stock manifolds. I was thinking that probably there is a lot less backpressure initially when you first turn it...

Looking mainly for the driver's side 1 5/8"' shorty header - either the JBA #1725S-7** or the Ford Motorsport (4v) #*** -464 for my modification project. Nothing new or pretty needed -- these will be hacked up/ported out anyway and then recoated for an install.
