To those with headers: Is it just me or does it seem to take longer to start the car? It seems I always have to crank the engine over a few extra seconds compared to when I had the stock manifolds. I was thinking that probably there is a lot less backpressure initially when you first turn it over and that it just takes longer to build it up compression/fuel mixture in the cylinders.

I'm pretty sure it's in the tune, I've had 3 different tunes (with headers) and every tune started the car differently, first tune as soon as I turned the key it fired up (impressive), another tune I had where the car kept cranking up a good 2-3 seconds, then eventually got a better tune, now it cranks up for a second or two to fire up.

Hopefully someone who has the full details on this can chime in.

Btw, this is in the wrong section, should be in the engine/tuning section

when installing long tube headers, the calibration should be adjusted accordingly due to the 02 sensors being moved.
