What is the 0-60, 1/4 times of a stock... say 95 SHO, because my friend was saying 6.6 to 60 but that seems a little too quick? any answers will be appreciated. :)

That's about right. Then again, it all depends on ATX or MTX and the Yamahas seem to vary alot from car to car...but 6.6 is feasible.

All depends, I've seen a bone stock 92 run a 14.7, but typically anywhere from a 15.0-15.6 depending on the driver on a MTX, ATXs usually 15.3-15.7, the Gen III (whichh had the 3.4L V-8) are in the same ball park

hmm.. cheaper and quicker than a contour svt.. minus some of the handling I guess. I may be in the market, my dad still wants me to get a new car, and since this is a late model ford he might go for it. My cousin in Okmulgee has one, but I have yet to see it.

Uh Oh, now your are gonna get a flame war started with saying its faster than a CSVT. IMO they are Faster, or at least feel faster. Yes the handling/braking is way off from a CSVT. Yet they do seem to respond better to mods. Tho IMO the CSVT is a better all around package stock.

Also, if your serious about getting a SHO, do research first, and know what you are getting into. They are not cheap to fix. I mean, how many other cars have a Yamaha under the hood?

But if you do, good luck, and you'll love it!

It's more like a second job for me. when she's running good (which she hasn't for a long time) then the car is a blast to drive. the look on peoples faces when your secondaries open up is well worth it

I thought everyone knew the SHO is faster than the CSVT...

My best is in my profile, 9.8@75MPH in the 1/8 th, and a 6.3 0-60 MPH. I have yet to see a stock CSVT pull those numbers.

You maybe right about a 'stock' contour. But a few guys with just exhaust & kn have pulled 14.7s. Actually it was SVT2000 if i remember right. The only thing I like MORE about the contour svt is the total package IMO is better (braking & handling stock are tons bettr than the sho.)
