02 Roush

Looking at an 02 Roush super charged mustang. I dont know much about Fords as I have a 2001 Camaro SS right now. How is the motor on the Roush. Is the bottom end forged like the 03 cobra is. Any other info about this car would be great. Thanks.

No it not forged its the same motor in the GTs. I know a guy that has an 02 s/c roush and its pretty quick he pulled like a 12.8 w/it.

get a corba. roush only has like 285 and there not built as good as the cobra.

SlammedSVT is right. Get a Cobra. Ever since the 03's came out, Roush and Saleen sales have dramatically dropped. Think about it, why pay 48k for a Mustang GT with ground effects, suspension and supercharger, stock motor, when you can have the ultimate Mustang, the Cobra, for around 36k. You can put the extra 12k into the Cobra and no one will be able to hang with you , in the 1/4 mile or the twisties.
