02 Sensor Question

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well, considering.

I had a question about 02 sensors. This part number, GU2Z-9G444-A, is what ford is saying will work. Apparently they are universal. They have superseded the oem parts.

Has anyone installed these? I’m trying to avoid issues. If not, other suggestions? Thank you

Yep, use the motorcraft O2 sensors. It's one of those parts that the aftermarket never could match. These cars can be finicky with oxygen sensors.

Ford has changed the part number at least 2 times I am sure of over the years, don't sweat it.

Ford has also changed the part number for the pigtail repair kits twice as well. I actually have both sitting in my garage now. Only real change I can spot is the color of the wires and the type of splices provided.
