The '15 is a very different IRS than the '04 and earlier setup.

Ill take the 03/04 Cobra or the 2015 + 'Clunck' any day over the Ackerman Angle 'Clunck' that the Corvette owners have to live with, now that thing is annoying.

IRS swaps are popular with the Custom car, race car and off road crowd. They've been swapping in the 8.8 for 20yrs. (one man's trash is another man's treasure). Beefing up turboed Z cars and just about every thing made with an IRS. There are many cobra diffs (Lincoln and T-Bird previously) mounted in custom subframes. The Cobra diff has fallen out of favour for the stronger Explorer case (mostly the diff cover). The "new" Mustang irs differential looks somewhat like a 2007+ Explorer but with different front mounts. No surprise here. Ford put truck heads on the early 90s mustangs, The 2000R engine is from a Truck, no?
