I know the coupes headlights are solid as a rock but the verts, drivers light bounces all over. I've checked the housing, the bulb and everything else. F'ing Ford tells me all verts have this issue. If I put sub-frames on it, it would help.
I'll have to fix this along with the other minor crap on the vert. Like the windshield weather stipping, the passenger seat rub, the A/C clunk and etc...
Who would have thought, a $40k+ car and Ford won't fix a thing. You would have thought I would've learned after buying the coupe 14 months earlier.
I had a lightning before the Cobra, and I do have to say the build quality was WAY better.
That's actually what convinced me to buy the Cobra, the fact that the lightning was _EXTREMELY_ solid without 1 rattle for over a year. It was a badass mobile, I miss it .
Funny that I dont have that problem with my '03 vert, but my friend has the problem on his '01 Saleen. If anyone has a fix for this, I would be interested to know.
I have the exact same problem. However, It's not all that noticeable, only on bad roads, and I haven't complained to the dealer. It doesn't bother me enough to worry about it.
