03 cobra cluster in 01 gt

I have an 03 cobra cluster that i am putting in my 01 gt. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this.

from what I hear it plugs right up...

yeah it plugs right in but then it will not start...I just need to know what to do after that. It is something in the PATS system because everything works lights, etc. I just need to find out what is next to get my mileage displayed and get it operating properly.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need to disable PATS in order for this to work. Also the mileage from the Cobra cluster will read and not your mileage. There is no way to change this. No, you cannot replace the circuit boards with your own like you can with other clusters because the 03/04 cobra uses a different backlighting system.

If you want PATS to continue to work you will need to go to your dealer and get them to mate the cluster with the PCM. To just remove PATS from your current tune ask your tuner to to this for you, you will need to already have an SCT/Diablosport/Sniper tuner.
