03 cobra engine swap in 03 gt

Anyone have any info on putting a 03 cobra engine in a 03 mustang gt? I'm using my stock trans i have the complete engine and harness, computer, and fuel tank. I'm planing on starting the swap Friday so the most i can find out by Friday will be great. Thanks.

I dont know how close you dash wiring etc...will match.

I just completed a 04 to 01 cobra swap.

I ended up swapping every lick of wiring out.

You should be ok, what all wiring do you have?

i have just the engine wiring harness.

We just finished a Cobra Swap into a 99GT, which also had an Auto Trans. There may be other things depending on what tranny you are using

You need the following:
1. Engine Harness w/ PCM
2. Body Harness (it is easier to just modify and make your own than swapping to the cobra harness). Fuel Pump Wiring among other wires are different. We just made our own
3. Battery Junction box harness (the box itself is different, intercooler pump, etc)
4. Power Steering Reservoir Bracket
5. Brake Booster
6. Hydraulic Hoses for Hydroboost and Power Steering

I would modify your 03gt wiring and use that vs. swapping in the Cobra wiring.
