03 cobra tuned without cats is it safe to add cats without retuning?

Hey guys I'm new to the site and I just purchased an 03 cobra that has been tuned without cats. Does anyone know if it is safe to add a bbk high flow converter xpipe without having to have it tuned again? Thanks

Depends on your full mod list, we need to know alittle more before you get a exact answer.

But generally no, it's not recommended.

If your mod list is basic, I'd recommend a mail order / sct hand held tune from one of the known cobra tuners

Yes, you can do that. It will probably run a little on the rich side but you'll be fine.

You could get a new tune to optimize it but it won't be worth the $ unless you are adding other mods.
