I've researched this topic to death, so I will give my insight: The PRO 50 and the STEEDA TRI-AX are the "cake" shifters for our 03 Cobras. PRO 50 direct: http://www.pro-50.com/shifter_t56.htm Steeda Tri-Ax direct: http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/t56shifter.htm The PRO 50 comes with a very straight handle. The TRI-AX comes with an adjustable handle. PRO 50 claims solid STEEL non-breakable parts. TRI-AX does not. PRO 50 is a far reach for a long-legged (tall) driver. TRI-AX plug-and-play for a taller driver, just adjust handle as needed. Here is a good PRO 50 review: http://www.yellowmustangregistry.com/Pro50.html I have personally decided on the PRO 50 since I am short (5'7") and I don't have any problems with reach at all. If I do, I will purchase the MGW handle to attach to the PRO 50 http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_shift_handle.html If you plan on using a BIG shifter ball, you may have clearance problem with the stock PRO 50 handle. I use the MGW "Gripper" knob. The threads on these shifts are the same as stock for the knob. The other two shifters available that FEW people have are: The HURST shifter: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/03shifter.htm The KIRBAN Quik-Shifter available at Amazon Racing: http://www.amazonracing.com Mike
