I scuffed up my driverside rear wheel coming down a tight lefthand corkscrew downramp at the parking garage at work back on 8/27. I got distracted and took my eyes off the ramp. I odered a replacement from http://www.gefracing.com/index.htm. The wheel arrived this afternoon via FedX ground in perfect shape. I'm satisfied.
Had to order a tire too from tirerack. I think the tire got more damage than the wheel. the sidewall must be very soft or something. The curbing that has a 90 degree edge on it "not rounded" tore several patches of rubber out of the sidewall, it's a wonder it didn't go flat. The tire is actually a WR-17 even though it says ZR-17 on the sidewall, it's rated for 168mph. Been driving the '98 since then. Well gotta go get this tire mounted, the wheel looks like a Ford part to me. Here are some numbers on the wheel.
