04 cobra auto swap question(shifter)

I am looking for a shifter that will clear that stock radio and doesnt require me to cut the dash. Please let me know what shifter you are using.

Stock auto setup and detent the shifter so it will lock in 2nd

Oh, you got that. Look at it and see how it locks in D before N and mod it to lock in Second when shifting out of first.

B&M fits in the factory location.

Never mind the fact that it only lists it to 2000. There should be NO reason it won't fit the factory location of a 2003.

I used the B&M Hammer in my 4r70w auto swap rather than the stock auto shifter from Ford. It does not hit the radio or anything, but I'm sure you know that it will sit up higher in the console. My buddy and I got a floor pan out of an auto Mustang and cut the Cobra floor out, then rewelded the other one in so the shifter sat flush....looks tits now, but it was a lot of work.
