Man, if the car still had the IRS, I would SO be interested in this thing!

The live axle is much better than the IRS, why do you think they went back to it on the GT500? Saves alot of weight, eliminates wheel hop and is much more durable.

JLP rebuilt it last winter and it wasn't planned, I should have had him look at it when I bought it. AFR must have been to lean or to much timing. Seemed like it missed at the top of 4th gear but I didn't think it was a big deal at the time. I let a friend drive it and after he did some back to back high speed highway pulls something didn't seem right and it had low compression in number 8. I find out later that 17psi on pump isn't a good idea anyway. I think the car should be able to do it now since its built but I just run the 3.75" pulley that makes about 14 psi.

How is a 04 Grand Am Se1 (4 door sedan, 3.4l v6) for trade? The car gets 25mpg city. 45k miles (thousands of them were long roadtrips), list price is around $10k. So I'd give you $18k cash. Let me know
