05+ axle assembly is 03 cobra ?

My friend was asking me if an 05+ gt axle would fit as a swap for the 03 cobra ? He has a vert and we saw that ford racing sells an 05+ axle with 373 gears, 31 spline axles and differential for around $1200 new. I've done a few searches on Google and here and haven't found any answers. I think there around 60" long if I'm not mistaken .

Upper control arms would prove to be a problem. Although you may be able to get around that with an aftermarket panhard bar kit from MM or something to take the place of them.

Would also bet the lower control arm mounts/shocks would be different as is the sway bar mounts.

Ahh that sucks it looks like its possible but not worth the hassle . Would be nice to not lose as much handling characteristics by having the panhard setup

You can put a panhard bar on SN95 axles.

Yes I know I was simply look at the 05+ as possibly being a donor for him. If it was me doing the swap I wouldn't be worried about handling as much as losing a few lbs and being stronger.
