05+ f-150 engine?????

Hey I know this may be a dumb question but will the short block outta a 05+ f150 5.4 work in our trucks. If I'm not mistaken the only change for the new trucks is the 3 valve heads so that shouldn't be a problem. Enlighten me please. :banana:

Yes they will work. Its a little better block. I dont remember what they are called. I know its 3 letters. MVR or something like that.

I looked it up. Its NVH. It stands for noise vibration and harmonics. Its a thicker updated block.

Well I may have a chance to buy a short block for cheap. I figured I could put forged internals and maybe find a L crank and have me a shortblock so I don't have to worry bout mine letting go anymore.:banana:

Then you'll need a different midplate/adapter plate for the blower if you use those 3v heads.
