I'm debating what my next car will be and I think i'm caught between a used low mileage Gt 500 or a 2011 GT. Assuming the GT gets roughly 400+ hp which would all of you choose?

I'm leaning towards the shelby.. More power, love the overall looks of the car.

But I love the new interiors of the mustang and the options available that the older shelby's don't have. And I'd probably miss the extra 100 ish hp in the shelby.

I say the 2011 GT because 1. it looks 10x better and can handle amazing if you get the track package and 2. Ya you may be down ~100hp but how can you argue against 400hp N/A?! Grabber blue 2011 FTW

I'm holding out for real info on the 2011 GT, but if it lives up to the hype, it will be hard to argue against.

id go low milage GT500 myself. actually im kinda planning on it. There will be many many 07-09 500's coming up for sale in the next two years and most likely the prices are gonna easily dip into the low 30's and high 20's for one of these. They are already in the high 30's as we speak and getting cheaper every few months. Also, most people who bought the 500 dont DD them so the low milage cars will be plenty. Just my .02.

Its hard to pass up the all around performance of the 11 mustang gt. With mods it will look like this...

3600lbs with 400rwhp gt 5.0
3850-3900lbs with 600rwhp gt500

If you drive road course tracks the n/a will dominate! If you just want pure power get the gt500 and a twin screw!
