Yesterday we had a cruise and there was a P51a Roush '08 model I believe, that needed to see what he could do against an 07 GT Auto that has a Saleen S/C kit and a bunch of other mods dynoing 500. They agreed to do an interstate sprint from 30-40 roll. The GT took the P51 all three times. Unfortunately I couldn't get there quick enough as they were leaving to video the episode, but the Roush owner confessed to me that he got beat on all runs. The GT driver said he shut it down @ about 150.....
I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't been there to hear it myself.
