1-3 gears not seeing full boost (stock tune)

Has anyone else noticed on a stock tune that gears 1-3 you don't see full boost, and 4-6 you can see full boost? I'm assuming the computer knows which gear the car is in, limiting the amount of boost. Can anyone verify this? I'm guessing the only way around it is a tune?

Yeah, I guess what I meant what the car doesn't really start building boost fast until I get in the pedal, whereas my Beetle built boost without much foot in the pedal for normal driving...

Driving it just reminded me of my old 04 Cobra, just way less power.

Good pick up! However, my ST has full boost around 1500 RPM. Not sure what you mean about really getting in the pedal to build boost.

Dude, you just posted this in my thread in the pic/video section....I didn't even bother to comment on this. So I guess you aren't seeing full boost around 1500 RPM:rollseyes

If I floor it in 1, 2, or 3rd, I get full boost.

There are a lot of variables that determine how much boost you will get. With 91 octane, I generally see full boost, unless the car is really heat soaked.

I see full boost at WOT in those gears too.....
