Alright well, Im going to go out to the track for the 3rd time in this car tomorrow night. My mods are.. O/R h pipe, Magnaflow catback, K&N filter, and a shifter. The car is lowered which doesnt really help my launch. So anyway last time I was out (2weeks ago) My best run was a 13.7 at 104 with only a 2.2 60 foot on street tires. (in a non prepped lane) Tomorrow I am going to try some drag radials on in the prepped lane. Is this a bad idea? I mean what kind of 60 foots can I expect. What are the chances of something breaking? I mean If I feel wheel hop at all I will let out. Has anyone pulled good 60 foots with drag radials and stock gears? Should I drop the clutch a lil harder with drag radials or still slip it out?

thanks

Just don't let the car wheel hop. It's the hop that kills the half shafts.

You should be able to get those 60' times down under 2 seconds though, probably 1.90's with some practice.
