1.55 60' @ 11.97 run

Car is a HCI 308 with no power adder. Car, I think, is capable of a 11.8x. Both launches were about 5900-6000 with the factory rev limiter. Car still has the stock airbox. Tires are MT 28x10.5 slicks. Lemme know what you guys think.

It was? I've missed gears with a broken transmission and found them faster than that...

Edit, I think it's got 11.50s in it if you can shift 1-2 faster and 2-3 faster... it sounds like 2-3 grinded... get a better shifter on there and slam it!

Yeah I need to work on the 1-2 shift. Didnt grind any gears tho. As for the airbox, didnt have money at the time for CAI, and I didnt think it would make that much diff HP wise.

Get a REAL intake, Trade the 28" tires for 26" tires, rev it higher, and shift alittle faster. Easy 11.50@115mph car.

Its average at best for a car on bigs and littles. 1.30 60' is pretty damn good IMO...

BS! Just because a car is running big and littles doesnt mean its gonna cut 1.30's. 300hp cars just dont go out and cut 1.30's on a regular basis. :nonono: 1.55 is good for his car. 11.9's only trapping 112 is impressive and good driving!

Shifting needs to be improved but thats just one area to knock time off... The 60' is real good. We have a GT40P, stock cammed car that ran 12.00s @ 112 with high 1.5x low 1.6x 60's. Our car hooked well, so yours is getting out of the hole good for the power.

My guess is fast powershifts, similar 60' or even better and 11.7s or better could happen!

Thanks guys for all the replys. This is the first motor I built, so i was only expecting an 11.99 out of it. I'm happy with the 60'. Just need to get a CAI and work on the 1-2 shifts. Car only weighs 2800 with me in it and 4 gallons of gas.
