I’ve tried to do a search on this but haven’t found a satisfactory answer yet
It appears from several posts that if you put the 17x10.5” wheels on the back you need to either have additional spacers or ‘cut the IRS bolt’ ?
Not sure I like the idea of cutting anything but also wondering why you need spacers, I had these on my 01 Bullitt for over 5 years with no issues so I‘m guessing it must be to do with the IRS and what exactly do you cut and why.
If you choose the spacer option is there a minimum width to clear whatever it is you need to and won’t that make the wheel stick out to much?
I have the chance of getting back the same wheels I had on my Bullitt but will only consider it if it’s all ok
BTW I’m still not sure if the Bullitt style wheels will suit the Cobra anyway and could do with seeing a few pictures of any others with them on, Silver car, Anthracite wheels
