10K on car and going to need new tires soon.

Hey everyone,

Just hit 10k on the 01 and it’s in right now for a rotation, but I know im going to need new ones real soon. What tire has everyone had good luck with on the stock 01 rim? And what is the biggest size you can put on a 01 Rim. I don’t take it to a track and its used as my daily driver on freeways more then anything else, so I would like a tire that is not made for going 100+ MPH all the time but will go longer miles. As always, everyone input and 2 cents is welcomed.

275/40 is the biggest you can go on your stock 8inch rim and it is pushing it and you can tell when you look at the rim that it is 8inches because of how much the tire sticks out over the rim. 255/40 looks great. any bigger and it starts going out past the rim. if you interested i have an almost new set of rims/tires for sale in the market. 2003 cobra chrome rims *real ones* 9inch wide wearing 275-40 bfg gforce KD. the tires are rated at 189+mph (higher than z rated, they are zy rated)
