11-14 aftermarket stereo options.

I'm wanting to replace the stock shaker 500 stereo in my 2012 GT. I'm wanting a simple single din headunit. I'm thinking Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB. My issue is the aftermarket dash kits to allow this have what appear to be quite craptastic HVAC controls or fugly LCD displays.

I saw a picture on a forum a while back where the OP kept the stock HVAC controls by angling them in and making a recessed center stack.

Anyone have experience with the aftermarket dash kits?

I'm worryingly close to saying screw this and swapping to a vintage air system for HVAC.
