11 GT burning smell?

Since I picked up my car I have been smelling something burning when I get out of the car. It's not the clutch guys...promise. Anyone else smell this on their new 11 GT? -Shane

It's normal. Remember that everything is new and there's probably a protective oily film in most of the exhaust parts and others too. It'll stop once it's all burned and evaporates.

It'll go away. I bought plenty of brand new cars and they always smell that way.

Perfectly normal...should go away in a week or two. This was probably my smelliest new car for this type of burn off smell.

Yep mine was that way after my test drive, then smelled it for a couple days / couple hundred miles.

A lot of it is oil on the exhaust system. It's used to lube the machines and pipes during the forming and bending process. It will produce a burning smell.
