i have been to the race track now 4 different times trying to learn this evil to luanch car.
1st time out ever ran best of 8.46 at 86 mph in 1/8 with bassani cat back only... 60' was 2.24 (only 2 runs)-january
2nd time out due to high wind ran the 1/4 track 1/8, ran a best time of 8.36 at 87.1 mph... (two passes) best 60' 2.04-march
3rd time out ran 1/4 finally bassani x-with cats also added- made 4 passes 13.31 at 109.22 2.31 60
13.15 at 110.38- 2.21
13.14 at 110.78- 2.27
17.87 at 40.89.. 2.20.. too much hopin let out in 2nd gear- track pretty bad
today- add drop in K&N- made 4 runs in bracket races well 3 actually
1st off the highway literally...
13.18 at 111.03 (1/8 was 8.72) whoo hoo new mph best 2.24 60'
13.32 at 109.47... not sure why slowed down a lot.. was pretty warm still
1st rd dailed 13.33 had 2.11 60' but had to hit brakes at line (was bracket racing) had 1/8 time of 8.45!! but ran a 13.17 at 79 mph... lost also grrr car was much cooler than previous runs so i got idea, begged track manager to allow me a time run after the races were over.. he said okay
car had 3 hours to cool down
2.04 60' lots of tire hop.. almost let out but didnt
1/8 was a 8.28 at 88.3:-D
1/4 was a 12.69 at 111.89... and it was in a 15 mph head wind!!!:-D :-D :-D
there... got my 12 sec run... now if i can just work on the 60' hmmmmm
