Damn! Is that safe? 12psi seems like a lot for a high compression non-forged motor.

blacksrt, that was the concern as 12psi at the stock LS2 10.9-1CR is a ticking time bomb. The AFR 225cc heads were used as they flow simply awesome, provide a thicker deck than the standard LS2 head and also drop the CR below 10.0-1.

That's what I was thinking. You don't hear of people running more than 6# on the stock Vette motors (LS1, LS2, LS6) because of that CR. 12# is asking for trouble.
