Could you use E85 with 15:1 compression?

I wouldn't see why not. It is equiv to 105 octane gas. I would be interested to see the amount of timing one could run with this setup. I am not a fan of domed pistons but there isn't much option for increasing compression. I prefer a flattop or slightly dished piston for a better burn.

Thanks for the replies!

Unfortunately, we are only building the shortblock. Hopefully the customer gets it assembled and gets the results back to us soon. I'm not sure what he plans on running for fuel, but if it were ours it would be race gas only.
