Hi, im new to this forum i just have a couple of questions.. Im gonna go with 18" rims with 245/45/18 in front and 275/40/18 in back, im not much of a racer but every now and then ill go from light too light, are 18" rims gonna slow me down ??? couple of people tell me that i will not notice it at all going from a 17" rim??? Thanks

You shouldnt see much of a difference. You will probally have to get your speedo recalibrated due to the tire rim diameter change.

its been a while since i did that swap but seems like the initial acceleration and the brake grab were a bit slower, but not much.

I just went to 295/45x18 in the back, feels a bit less jumpy off the line now. I went up a full 1.5" in overall diameter in the back. Nothing a 4.10 can't fix though! :)

Are those the right offset for the 05's

I don't like the big front lip I've seen on them. I wonder what 94-04 offsets on the front would look like, and the 05 offset on the back. So there isn't taht huge front lip

Here are my 18's. I ran 18x10 in back and 18x9 in the front. I went with Nitto 555 extremes in the front at 275/40/18 and 305/35/18 555r extreme 2's in the back. Its fat like a steam roller now baby and it hooks up nice at the track. The rears are very close to the original 17 height.
Here are a couple of pics. I am waiting for my pony caps to come in to colmplete the look I am going for.
