Hey guys looking for what everyone's favorite/effective drag radial on a 18x11 wheel. Currently running 18x11 CCW classics with 335/30 toyo proxes in the rear and well they don't stick. Fenders aren't rolled yet but plan to. Another question would be what fronts to run with said radial. I've searched and read some threads but main reason for my own is to have guys post pictures of 18x11's with DR's. Can't find many photos online. Would also like the DR's to be a decent street tire and not trash after 500 miles. Car will rarely see rain if ever. Thanks for the help.

I'm running R888's 305/35/18 on True Forged 18x11's. Traction seems good in 2ND gear.

Im running M/T radials 305/35/18's. Power numbers in my sig, and the car hooks in first. Doesn't spin at all, just goes. No fender rolling necessary.

Yep..Doesn't spin what so ever. Can be going say 10 mph and mat it. Hooks and goes. Running 26-28 psi in the rears.

Looks like the general consensus is not to run a 335 or 315 but a 305? Not man people run a 335 or 315 in a DR?

That's what I came up with after researching on here. Extra sidewall makes more difference than a little more width.

Damn you're the first I've ever heard being able to do that.

Problem is M/T doesn't make a 315/35 size tire in an 18. Least that's what I found when I was researching tires. Most companies don't. What I found was most make you choose a 315/30 in an 18. My old BFG DR's were a 315/30/18, and they spun unless I was in 3rd. Plus, my fronts are a 275/35/18, and having the 315/30/18 in the rear kinda made the car look a little goofy I thought. You could definitely tell a difference looking at it. But I compared both the BFG's and the M/T's, and visually width wise, they were too damn close to tell a difference. Plus the extra side wall was so worth it!

Damn you're the first I've ever heard being able to do that.

Yeah I know what you mean, I wasn't expecting that much traction my self, I was completely surprised!

Can y'all post some pictures on 18x11s with 305/35s? I know I'm losing next to nothing on width just want to be sure of how the look on an 11 inch wheels before pulling the trigger. Thanks again.

I run 305/35 r888's on my 18x11 Classics. As some others have said they hook good in second.

Which M/Ts are you running? I've been looking at R888 305x18 in the rear with TF wheels, I don't want to roll my fenders.
