1990 Jeep Wrangler with Grand National Motor

Selling my 1990 YJ. I bought this from a friend of mine who installed the motor. Its a buick 3.8 turbo with a wrangler 5 speed trans. Currently the motor is running 4 lbs of boost, however the engine can make up to 12 lbs but that is not safe for the transmission. All the stock fuel injection/computer have been wired in and works correctly. Flowmaster exhaust. Ive been driving this jeep daily for the past few weeks and it is a blast to drive.



Other mods are a 2.5 inch lift with 31 inch BFG AT's. The Jeep has around 130k on the body and 3100 miles on the motor swap. The jeep was painted 3 years ago. Asking 4500 and am open to offers. Located in cincinnati ohio. Also comes with spare transmission.

Its a hot air car setup not the intercooled 86/87 setup eventhough the turbo is mounted in the 86/87 location.

i did some digging from the the vin number on the PCM. its a 1998 regal 3.8 v6. Originally those motors were supercharged, the previos owner added a turbo on this one.
