I have a 1992 Calypso Green LX Convertible for sale with the White Top and White Leather interior 5 speed car with 99k miles. This car has Brand New Tires, runs and drives great. Don't let the miles fool you, the A/C still blows cold and has never been converted to R134. The car retains all the correct VIN tags on all the locations on the car. The car still has the date coded 1992 plug wires on it. The top functions perfect, up and down with no issues. I believe this is one of 361 built in this combination of colors, but never broke down to how many 5 speed cars were built. I wouldn't be afraid to jump in this car and drive it to Florida or further.
This car is all original except replacement mufflers that were welded in by Midas, (I have the receipt for the replacement). This car has tons of original paperwork to go along with it, like window sticker, original sales receipt, owners manual with warranty card and plastic keys ( there is a picture I will post of the paperwork) I also have brochures and other kinds of paperwork to go along with it. The car was under coated when first purchased (have the receipt), it originally came from Champaign, IL. I have the original convertible boot, bag and will be pictured. I purchased the car from I believe the 3rd owner locally to me. The car has a set of locking lug nuts that were added, I have a box with 4 original lug nuts also in the trunk area and the key to the locking lug nuts. I just replaced the thermostat in the car so it now has HOT heat, when your cruising around with the top down on those cool summer night.
The car has been drove and shows very well, but could use replacement seat covers IMO, power door locks, ash tray door fixed, and the map pockets tightened up or replaced. I am still trying to work on the map pockets and ash tray door as the car is for sale, so some of them may be fixed by the time it sells. I will leave it to the buyer if they want to replace the seats or not, the price will reflect the cost of them, plus I wanted to leave it as original as possible. The car does have some rock chips on the front and sides that have been touched up so don't expect a show winner!
I am asking $7200 I will consider reasonable offers! Really not looking for any trades, I am actually gonna buy another 91-93 50k miles or lower mileage stockish Notchback LX. So if you have something like that I may consider a trade. I have sold several cars to long distance buyers, I am a straight shooter NO BS from me. The last two cars I sold went to a members off the Forum here also.
The car is located in the 47303 area code, feel free to call (765) 74four 841seven from 9am to 11pm EST, If I don't answer I will get back with you leave a message. Or send me a Private message, Email: [email protected] then we can talk from there.
Please take the time to view all the pictures that were taken on 4/6/2014 in my Photobucket album I will attach a few of the car also: 1992 Mustang LX Convertible Photos by Willyb93 | Photobucket
